Investing with the Dividend Queen

This month I had a chance to do a LIVE Q&A Session with Greater is She titled, “Investing with The Dividend Queen“. I hope you were able to attend!

Look for Opportunities

I’ve been receiving a lot of questions about the best time to invest.

One thing you must realize about investing is that there are always opportunities. You will never know what opportunities exist if you don’t embrace the opportunity to learn all you can. You need to position yourself to make money when the stock price is going up and when it’s going down. There are strategies out there that will help you achieve this goal.

You just need to understand that the stock market is very volatile right now.

Stocks Plunged in June

On Thursday, June 11th, 2020, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) plunged 1,862 points, or 7%, to end near 25,128, marking the index’s worst daily drop since March 16, according to FactSet data.

But don’t panic. Panic attacks don’t create profits. You can enjoy quick gains during this time and take advantage of undervalued stock.

My June Dividend Update

I’ve been investing in dividend stocks. When you invest in dividend stocks, you are buying another stream of income. Dividends can provide you with a cash payout that you may receive monthly, quarterly, or once a year.

Before you start investing, you should check out these posts:

Here are some of the dividends I received this month:

Company Ticker Symbol Annual Dividend Payout Date
Cummins CMI $5.246-4-20
Exxon Mobile Corp XOM $3.486-10-20
Microsoft MSFT$2.046-11-20
Walgreens Boot Alliance WBA$1.836-12-20
